Leadership
Administrator: Aliza Woodcock
Aliza has been heavily
involved in the foster care world for many years. She has had to wear
many hats and has become very involved in where her strengths lie.
Working with high needs children has played a big part in Aliza's
life. Aliza finds it very rewarding helping these children reach their
goals to the best of their ability.
Aliza has raised three
natural children of her own and has worked in the business world for
many years, but feels her calling is working with high needs youths.
Aliza enjoys the challenge of working with these youths and she also
enjoys working as a team to meet the needs of these youths.
As a foster parent, Aliza
was a member of the Communicator Program and was very active in supporting
foster parents in time of need and support.
Aliza feels that being
an active foster parent has taught her the importance of advocating
for those in need, good decision making, team work, observing others'
needs, on going training report writing, first aid and an ability
to listen to others. These are also qualities needed to manage a group
home.
